More Than a Food Truck. A Movement of Inclusion.

Taste of Inclusion was born from a simple belief:

Every person deserves an opportunity to contribute, belong, and shine.

For over two decades, our family has walked alongside the special needs community—not only as advocates, but as parents. Our daughter Sakshi, who has Down syndrome, has taught us lessons that no classroom, degree, or profession ever could. Through her journey, we witnessed both the incredible abilities of individuals with special needs and the barriers they often face when it comes to meaningful opportunities, employment, and community engagement.

Through our nonprofit, Celebrate Special Families, we spent years supporting and uplifting families caring for loved ones with special needs. We celebrated caregivers, connected families with resources, and created opportunities for inclusion. Yet one challenge kept appearing again and again:

Many special needs individuals wanted to work, contribute, and be part of something bigger—but opportunities were limited.

We knew we had to do more.

Why Food?

Food has a unique power. It brings people together. It starts conversations. It breaks down barriers. It creates community.Regardless of age, background, culture, language, or ability, everyone can gather around a meal.So we asked ourselves:"What if we created a place where inclusion wasn't just talked about—but experienced?"That question became Taste of Inclusion.

A Dream on Wheels

Taste of Inclusion is an Indo-American fusion food truck with a purpose.

Every meal served helps create opportunities for individuals with special needs and their families to gain confidence, develop skills, interact with the community, and experience the pride that comes from being part of a team.

Here, they are not defined by a diagnosis.

They are chefs.
Servers.
Greeters.
Bakers.
Team members.
Community builders.

Every smile served from our window carries a story of courage, perseverance, and possibility.

Our Long-Term Vision

Taste of Inclusion is just the beginning.Our dream is to create sustainable opportunities where individuals with special needs can gain experience, develop confidence, and eventually participate in meaningful employment opportunities.We envision a future where no special person is left behind because of a disability.A future where communities recognize ability before limitation.A future where inclusion is not an event—it is a way of life.
